I have few pictures of salads in my folder and thought of sharing it in the space as I need to work out more in this area.I will post as and when I find and prepare the same.Salads are very healthy and contains lot of nutrients..There are many varieties of salads ...This is a common salad which is prepared in most of the South Indian homes.
Moong dal -4 tbsp,soaked for an hour and drained
Cucumber -1,peeled and grated
Green chilly -1,smashed
Ginger -1 tsp ,grated
Salt - to taste
Coriander leaves - 2 tbsp,chopped
- Mix all the ingredients together.
- You may also season it with mustard seeds and curry leaves.
- You may also garnish it with grated coconut(1 tbsp).
- Serve it with the main course.
