This is again a popular Konkani dish which makes a great breakfast or an evening snack. Amma used to prepare this whenever I would be hungry after coming back from school or college as it was very easy to prepare.It is best prepared with fresh tender grated coconut.This is sweet and spicy to taste.You may adjust the sweetness and spiciness according to your taste.Below here I have posted approx measurement .
Fresh grated coconut- 2 cups
Beaten rice poha - 1 1/2 cup approx
Sugar - 3-4 tsp or to taste
Green chilly crushed -2
- Mix all the ingredients together using a clean hand and press the mixture well so that it combines well.
- You may use a spatula to mix but I prefer using hand.
- You may also use crushed ginger.
- Adjust with more or less beaten rice as it not measured and mixed normally.
- Serve it immediately.
