Murg malai tikka

I had prepared these creamy  tikkas few months back ,much before I started blogging. But since it tasted very tasty I thought of sharing it with you'll. Of course the picture  is not great since I wasn't serious about photography then, used to randomly shoot pics. Will update the pics when I prepare it again. This tikka is ofcourse very high in calories with cheese, butter and cream. It is very tender and has a  rich mughlai taste.I occasionally enjoy this dish in restaurants if it is charred and grilled well, since I'm more of  a sea food lover, and I seldom eat chicken depending on my mood....Indulging this rich tikkas once in while is ok .Until then enjoy this delicious flavored tikkas.

Ingredients:

Method:

  1. Take a bowl and mix in all the ingredients and the coarse paste .
  2. Marinate it to the  chicken pieces for few hours or overnight.
  3. Preheat the oven at 220 deg C for 10 minutes.
  4. Pass the marinated chicken to the skewers and arrange it on the grill tray.
  5. Baste  the chicken pieces with butter or ghee while you turn them occasionally.
  6. Grill it for 30 minutes or until done.
  7. Best served as a starter with green chutney and salad.

My notes:
You may also pierce the chicken cubes with the fork  before marinating.
You may also prepare this tikka  in a microwave convection mode.
You may adjust the spices and herbs as per your taste.
Same marinated chicken can be used to prepare barbecues.
Please select  here  hung curds to know the method  on how to hang curds.
Timings may differ in different oven, please be careful and set accordingly.
